We limit the number of people on our tours in order to keep our group sizes to a sensible and reasonable number. In order for us to be able to do this we ask that you book the tour in advance. By knowing how many people will be on a tour we can then ensure that we have the correct number of guides to cope with the group size.
Full payment is due at the time of booking and is done through Stripe, one of the most secure and trusted methods of online payment. You can pay by all major credit or debit cards. When you book we do not receive any of your details other than your name, the date you have booked for, the number of places you have booked and your email address.
You will receive an automated response confirming the date you have booked for and the number of places you have booked. You will also receive a receipt of payment from Stripe.
If you haven’t received this automated payment within an hour of having made a booking please check your spam folder. Also please be sure to check that the date stated on your e-ticket is the correct date. If it isn’t please email us at hello@stpetersghosts.com and we will transfer the booking to the date you require.
We ask that you don’t bring any alcohol on the tour it is a public tour and there are parts of the route where drinking on the street is against state and local laws and you might be fined should an officer see you drinking. Drinking is only allowed in designated restaurants. Drink responsibly and at your own risk. You assume the risk of drinking before, during, or after the tour.
Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety at all times. Please be aware of your surroundings and of any obstacles and please take particular care when crossing roads. We accept no liability for damages, injury or death and by accepting these terms and conditions you release us from any liability as a result of your actions or those of others and waive any right to file any suit, claim or demand.
Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor walking tour of two hours duration and that it takes place whatever the weather. Please be sure to dress accordingly and appropriately for the conditions on the night on which you take the tour.
Also, be sure to ensure that you have eaten before the tour if you suffer from any condition such as low blood pressure. Remember, you will be walking outdoors for two hours.
We do not suggest the tour for children under the age of 5 as the themes covered and the descriptions given are of an adult nature.
However, this is merely a recommendation and we leave it to parental discretion as to whether or not you think the tour and its themes are suitable for your children.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to have had every participant in your group read and agree to such terms and condition and you agree as well. You understand by clicking and agreeing to such terms and conditions they are legal binding and will waive your rights to recovery from us for any injuries or damages.
Once your booking has been made your name will be on the guest list for the night you have booked for. Simply turn up and check in with your guide who will then tick your name off the list.
You don’t need to bring any proof of booking with you, but we do suggest you bring the directions to the meeting point of the tour, which is outside of Hops and Props.
The tour will depart promptly on the time your ticket states so we ask that you arrive 15 mins early. It is your responsibility to ensure that you allow enough travel time to the tour and that you arrive in time for the departure. We will not be able to delay the tour should you be running late.
However, it is up to you to ensure that you have arrived in time for the tour start and, should you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we cannot guarantee to be able to get you to the tour. No refunds will be given should you miss the tour because of late arrival.
The tour is never cancelled due to bad weather and each departure is a guaranteed departure. The tour goes ahead irrespective of the weather and we ask all participants to dress accordingly. You cannot cancel the tour at the last minute due to the weather.
Changes to your tour
We reserve the right to make any changes to the tour should circumstance beyond our control make it necessary. amend all or any part of the walk should circumstances dictate.
Although changes aren’t often made the tour route can be affected by roadworks or road closures and the guide might, in these circumstances, find it necessary to change the advertised route.
We also reserve the right to change the guide in the event of illness or other circumstances that might result in a guide becoming indisposed.
We require 24 hours notice should you wish to cancel your places on the tour. You will be issued a voucher for a tour at a later date. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the designated start time we will endeavour to re-sell your places and, if we do so, we will not issue a refund.
If you have booked a large group of 8 or more people the required notice of cancellation is hours 72 hours. If you give less than 72 hours we will attempt to re-sell your places and will only issue a refund should we do so successfully.
